How to play

Hold the mouse button or your finger on the field to fire at incoming robots.
Drag fire, ice or lightning ability buttons onto the field and release to cast them.
Release your drag on a button to cancel the ability cast.
Destroy every wave of robots before the wall falls to win the stage.
Spend gold and crystals in upgrades between stages to improve your defense.

About the game

Iron Defense is an action-packed arcade shooting and strategy game set in a single-screen industrial scrapyard. You control a turret mounted on a scrap wall as waves of junk robots march in from the right side of the screen. Your primary objective is to hold your ground, fire continuously, and unleash powerful abilities to stop the robotic onslaught before your wall collapses. Clear all incoming waves to survive each stage and progress through the campaign.

Between intense stages, you can spend salvaged gold and crystals on various strategic upgrades to boost your survival chances. Enhance your turret, strengthen the wall, install an electrified floor, or build auto-gun pylons to deal with tougher foes. The campaign features 100 challenging stages filled with unique bosses. Once you clear stage 100, you will unlock an Endless mode to see how long your fully upgraded defense can hold out.

Tips

Abilities use energy that refills over time, so use them strategically during heavy waves.
Tap the plus button to instantly refill your energy using crystals when you are in a pinch.
Upgrade your turret, wall, electrified floor, and auto-gun pylons between stages to handle boss fights easily.
